The CLP Women's Forum kicked off with a really good meet up at Caffe Nero and we were joined by some new faces. We introduced ourselves, and we spoke about the various wards and council elections, about canvassing, about the Women's Conference in Brighton and about life in general!

We decided to start holding a regular stall for the Women's Forum which can move between the various wards in the constituency. Let me know if you want to participate in that. There are lots of other opportunities for canvassing in your spare time, for example, some speak to parents outside schools, others do bookstalls in Pimlico and there is a regular stall in Tachbrook market at weekends.

The Cities of London & Westminster Constituency Labour Party held its Annual General Meeting last month, on the 25th July 2017.

 

The following officers were elected:

 

Chair: Barbara Johnston

Vice Chair Campaigns: Paul Heasman

Vice Chair Membership: Nikhil Venkatesh

Secretary: Caroline Saville

Treasurer: Viv Pribram

Women's Officer: Gillian Arrindell

 

The following coordinators were elected:

 

Youth: Hannah Lovell

LGBT: Colin Appleby

Disability: Veronica Morris

BAME: Mariayah Kaderbhai 

Digital: Jason Pritchard   

Trade Unions: Shelly Asquith

Political Education: Steve Goodman
