Protect the Queen Mother Sports Centre

queen_mother_sports_centre_sq.pngSport and leisure centres are a vital part of our communities - and for the community of Victoria and Pimlico, London SW1, that facility is the fantastic Queen Mother Sports Centre.

The centre offers local residents three swimming pools, a gym, basketball and squash courts and more - including a health and fitness clinic.

But now it's under threat.

Westminster Council is currently considering proposals to develop the site and surrounding area. There's a public consultation on the plans which you can take part in it here (it closes on 18 November 2016).

Westminster's Labour councillors are calling on the Council to protect the sports and leisure services currently offered by the site.

We've set up a petition that you can sign right here. If you care about keeping these services for the community as much as we do, please add your name to it and spread the word!
